The Grassfed Alliance was formed to support authentic grassfed producers, certifiers, brands, and consumers helping them tell their stories and promote grassfed meat and dairy products. By raising livestock, humans could turn inedible grasses into milk, cheese, meat, and countless other foods. Authentic Grassfed may seem like a new term, but it’s certainly not a new practice. Raising livestock on grass has countless benefits for our land, animals, and communities and the Grassfed Alliance wanted to make that the future standard. We created a unique and recognizable brand for everyone participating and learning about the Alliance, along with an energetic color palette juxtaposed to extremely detailed food, farmer, and cow photography.
MDD continued the brand system by adding to the current designs, updating the typography, editing the photography, and mocking up new designs on all ooh and swag. Their website, at the time, served as an information hub for everyone from farmers to certifiers, from brands to consumers – anyone who wanted to learn about grass-fed meat and dairy production.
