Maria and Ricardo’s unleashes their passion for food by fully embracing both their past and future.
Their cultural Mexican heritage compels them to honor and restore traditional foods and experiences because they represent the best of their past. When OffWhite Co. took on the task of rebranding Maria and Ricardo’s, the same spirit of honoring the past became the driving force behind our designs. Inspired by the Aztec calendar, we developed a series of patterns and illustrations that reflect the authenticity and Mexican heritage of the Maria and Ricardo’s brand.
One of the first projects I worked on after starting at OffWhite Co. I assisted the team with layout on multiple SKUS, adjusted the patterns, and fixed the layout of the front of packs. In addition to the minor edits, I helped create a packaging line for a new product.
